Stirling and Falkirk Canoe Club are based in Central Scotland.  We aim to cater for all types of paddlesport across all ages and abilities.  Please look around the website, and feel free to contact us for more information.

The west coast of Scotland provides some of the most dramatic and challenging coastal paddling in the world and it’s right on our doorstep.

The variety is enormous from the sheltered sandy beaches to wild over falls and crashing surf in tidal rock gardens. For those who dare there are the tidal races where rivers appear in the sea producing eddies, surf waves, stoppers and kayak-eating whirlpools and boil lines. And there’s no risk of a dry summer taking away your fun.

Then there are all those added extras - the chance to get totally away from civilisation and camp on remote islands where only the surf and the seals keep you company. To paddle on long exposed sea crossings is to get fully immersed in the life of the sea complete with wheeling and diving birds, otters, seals and whales to break the loneliness.

Club paddlers actively paddle throughout Scotland making a fairly regular annual pilgrimage to Arisaig.  Over 30% of our members express an interest in Sea Kayaking and although we currently have no Sea Kayaking Coaches we do arrange peer paddler trips.  The club has 5 Valley Aquanaut Sea Boats (3 HV’S and 2 LV’S) which can be booked out through the stores.  See the Club Forum for the monthly peer paddler trips and feel free to contact Gary (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) if you want any information or would like to discuss any future trips.
